Dr Michael Hood

Dr Michael Hood has significant experience in SA Metro and Rural hospitals, working in various emergency, general medicine, psychiatry and paediatric rotations as part of his GP training. He is passionate about health equality for all; with a focus on preventative health and implementing lifestyle and medical interventions to mitigate the risk of chronic disease, metabolic illness and improve healthy aging outcomes for his patients.

Dr Hood has a special interest in all areas of family medicine, including skin cancer removal, sports medicine (musculoskeletal injuries), paediatrics and emergency medicine. Michael looks forward to meeting new and existing patients and is committed to helping them achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Dr Hood enjoys sports and lives an active lifestyle with his young family here on the South Coast.
