Dr Tyson Whitelaw completed his medical training in Adelaide in 2017 and has worked across metropolitan South Australia, Far North Queensland, and the Eyre Peninsula. He completed his fellowship and rural generalist anaesthetic training with ACRRM in 2025. Dr Whitelaw became an Associate at VMC in 2025 and currently divides his time between general practice, anaesthetics at the Victor Harbor Hospital and as a Medical Educator with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.

Dr Whitelaw has a broad range of clinical interests, including anaesthetics with a particular focus on obstetric care, as well as preventive medicine aimed at improving metabolic health and longevity. He are also drawn to the dynamic nature of emergency medicine and has an interest in men’s health, particularly promoting early engagement and overall wellbeing.
